well done rupesh..Ajay Patil too tried a portrait recently and it happens to be a difficult task with watercolour.. But for some cauliflowers, good job.
Lovely job. Its a difficult task. One small suggestion is regarding the eyes. Normally, having a white area on the pupils to show reflected light makes them lively. You could still try that using white...but try it out on a rough eye sketch first.
thanks vijay,pc thanks a lot sandeep for good suggestion.i didn`t used white in this painting.so next time definatly i shall use little white. thanks a lot!
Rupesh, The proportaions are correct, its good portarait. Watercolor is dificult medium and especially for portraits its even more dificult as artist has to miantain both watercolor flows and likeness of the face. Try and do more head studies with live model (or self portrait from mirror)and to start with using pencil and charcol to get tonal values correct. If you can get hold of Charles Reid's book -'Portrait Painting in Watercolor' it will be very helpful
